How long will I be admitted for?

Length of stay is different for everyone.  Your multidisciplinary team or key worker will work closely with you to discuss your progress.  You may be given goals and objectives that need to be achieved prior to discharge.

Can family and friends visit and what are the visiting times?

Yes of course. We encourage friends and families to visit. Please contact the service directly to make visiting arrangements. You will be asked to avoid protected mealtimes and therapy sessions, but we don’t operate strict visiting times.

Who will pay for my care?

Unless you have made a private referral, your care will be funded by the NHS or Local Authority (the Social Services department within your local Council). We will organise this on your behalf.

Will I have my own bedroom?

Yes, everyone has their own bedroom, which you are welcome to personalise.

Can I bring my mobile phone, laptop or television?

Yes you can bring a mobile telephone, laptop and/or television. Your multidisciplinary team or key worker will complete a risk assessment to decide whether you can have your mobile telephone or laptop with you at all times, or whether it should be kept in the office when not in use.

Can I smoke?

Each service has an all-weather, designated outdoor smoking area. Smoking is not permitted inside any of our services (including your bedroom).
